Spetses is my home. I grew up in New Zealand and still divide my heart between two proud and beautiful places; Spetses is where I am living and raising my family.
With a background in Non-Profit Organizations in New Zealand, in coordination and administrative roles, I moved to Athens, Greece, in 2004, where I had the privilege to work at the University of Athens Medical School (NKUA) in the role of the principal administrator responsible for the administration of a number of national and international research projects. Assisting in the founding of the Hellenic Health Foundation (HHF) followed where I researched and implemented inaugural operation systems. For both HFF and NKUA I contributed to successful research project proposals to the European Commission (EC) which are ongoing.
Today, I am partner of ‘RTX Editing and Images’ based in Spetses, Greece.
My ‘official’ involvement in the Spetses community includes being a founding member of the Spetses Yacht Club, having held the positions of Commodore and Treasurer and Organiser of the Spetses “Sailors for the Seas” Clean Regatta initiative (Gold Level Award 2019 for Spetses Armata Cup Regatta), and past Treasurer and current member of the Preschool Parents’ Association.
