Dear friends,

As Christmas is approaching, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the trust and support you have shown to Community Trust Spetses. Thanks to you, we were able once again this year to support social, environmental and cultural initiatives on the island of Spetses.

How your donations were used 

During this year, your financial donations enabled us, among other things, to:

• Support the operation of the children’s clinic, covering part of the costs for providing health services to the island’s children.

• Implement actions to reduce plastic pollution.

• Strengthen educational and cultural programmes for children and young people, contributing to a more inclusive and creative school environment.“In total, we invested the amount of 186000,00 € in initiatives that benefit the local community (health, environment, education & culture).

In-kind contributions

 In addition to financial donations, in-kind contributions from individuals and partner organisations played a vital role.

• Provision of equipment and materials for educational and cultural programmes (e.g. toys, books, activity materials).

• Contribution of services and professional expertise from members of the local community and partners on the island

• Provision of equipment to support the needs of pediatric office.

Our activities throughout the year

Health: Continuation of pediatric clinic services and support to families with children on the island.

Environment: Awareness-raising plan to reduce plastic use 

Education & culture: Inclusion-oriented early childhood initiatives and educational and cultural workshops in collaboration with local stakeholders.
