Our Vision
Due to its culture, its natural environment and its dynamic, positive and collaborative community we believe that Spetses has an enormous potential to become a leading example of sustainability and ecological management amongst the Greek islands.
By sustaining and promoting these dynamics, Spetses island can thrive as an island life model of the 21st century
Spetses Island
Known as Isola di Spezie (The Island of the Aromas) under Venetian rule and Pityoussa (pine-clad) in ancient times, Spetses is one of the few islands very close to Athens (just 54 nautical miles), making it an ideal all year-round destination.

It is a car-free island with a unique architecture, naval history and culture. Horse-drawn carriages, bicycle and bikes are the only modes of transport on Spetses.
