Your voice can change Spetses!
Plastic pollution is a global threat to the marine and terrestrial environment. Every year, 8 million tons of plastic leak into the oceans, with Greek seas burdened annually by 11,500 tons of plastic. In the case of Spetses, reducing plastic use is necessary to maintain quality of life and the island's tourism product.
In collaboration with the Laboratory of Environmental Policy & Management of the Department of Environment at the University of Aegean, we are launching an important study to map the current situation regarding the management of plastic packaging for bottled water on the island of Spetses.
The results will be the first step in designing practical actions that concern everyone on Spetses. Your participation is essential — and it takes only 3 minutes.
Your participation is anonymous. No participant will be identifiable in any publication resulting from this research. The data will be stored securely and will be used exclusively for research purposes.
